The Romanian Football Federation announces that Maspex will be the official sponsor of the UEFA Under 21 Championship 2023, organized by Romania and Georgia.

Maspex Romania supports the organization of EURO U21 in Romania, through the Bucovina brand, becoming an official sponsor of the final tournament, competition that will take place between June 21 and July 8, 2023.

The partnership between Maspex Romania and the Romanian Football Federation was initiated in 2016, with the organization of the most important football competition for youngers in Romania, ONSȘ Football – Tymbark Junior Cup, which encourages children to exercise, to develop their sporting potential and discover his football talent. The competition is addressed to both boys’ and girls’ teams and is organized annually in three age categories – U8, U10, U12, with over 480,000 participants so far.

At the same time, Maspex started supporting Romania’s national football teams, and from 2019, Bucovina became the official water of the tricolors. The commitment was extended in January 2021, when Bucovina became the official sponsor of the National Senior Team.

The EURO U21 2023 final tournament is the first to be organized in two countries. It will take place in Romania and Georgia. Our country will host no less than 15 matches of the final tournament: Group B matches will be played in Bucharest, which includes Romania, Spain, Ukraine and Croatia, plus one match from the quarterfinals and a semifinal. And in Cluj-Napoca, the matches of Group D will be held in which France, Italy, Norway and Switzerland will face each other, and then a quarter-final.

The games will take place at Steaua and Rapid-Giulesti stadiums in Bucharest and at Cluj Arena and Dr. Constantin Rădulescu in Cluj-Napoca. The schedule of matches and other details about the competition can be found at https://www.frf.ro/under21/.

Georgia will host matches in Group C, which includes Germany, England, the Czech Republic, Israel, and Group A, which includes Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium and Georgia, and then two quarter-finals, a semi-final and the final the competition.

By attending this final tournament, Romania ticks off its third consecutive participation after those of 2019 and 2021.
