The Romanian Football Federation announces that Banca Transilvania is an official partner of the UEFA Under 21 Championship 2023, organized by Romania and Georgia, one of the most anticipated events of the year for football fans around the world.

The market leader in banking in Romania and the largest bank in Southeast Europe, Banca Transilvania, is one of the official sponsors of the European Under 21 Championship in Romania, a competition that will take place between June 21 and July 8, 2023.

BT has been supporting young talents since 2021, when before the U21 EURO from Hungary and Slovenia, it became a partner of the Romanian Under 21 team, a team that it still supports today.

The EURO U21 2023 final tournament is the first to be organized in two countries. It will take place in Romania and Georgia. Our country will host no less than 15 matches of the final tournament: Group B matches will be played in Bucharest, which includes Romania, Spain, Ukraine and Croatia, plus one match from the quarterfinals and a semifinal. And in Cluj-Napoca, the matches of Group D will be held, in which France, Italy, Norway and Switzerland will face each other, and then a quarter-final.

The games will take place at Steaua and Rapid-Giulesti stadiums in Bucharest and at Cluj Arena and Dr. Constantin Rădulescu in Cluj-Napoca. The schedule of matches and other details about the competition can be found at https://www.frf.ro/under21/.

Georgia will host matches in Group C, which includes Germany, England, the Czech Republic, Israel, and Group A, which includes Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium and Georgia, followed by two quarter-finals, a semi-final and the final the competition.

By attending this final tournament, Romania ticks off its third consecutive participation after those of 2019 and 2021.
