Romania will host the 72nd edition of the UEFA Under-19 European Championship from June 13-26, 2025, with our national team automatically qualified for the final tournament.
On November 19, the group stage matches of the EURO U19 2025 qualifiers concluded, meaning we now know which teams have advanced to the Elite Round—the last stage before the final tournament.
From this list, Romania’s potential opponents at the EURO will be determined. Only eight national teams will participate in the tournament!
The preliminary phase consisted of 13 groups of four teams each, with the top two teams from each group, Portugal (the defending champion), and the best third-placed team across all groups advancing to the next stage on the road to the European Championship.
