Romania will host the UEFA Under-19 European Football Championship from June 13 to June 26.
As with all tournaments, matches, or international events organized in Romania in recent years, volunteers will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the competition. A total of 15 matches will take place across four stadiums in Bucharest, Voluntari, and Ploiești.
The dedicated volunteer team for this final tournament will have the opportunity to work alongside UEFA staff in organizing a major European event. Volunteers will contribute their knowledge and skills to daily activities and collaborate with teammates who share similar values and passions. They will be the „backstage team” at a tournament featuring the future stars of European football. Only eight of the best national teams in Europe will compete for the trophy!

„We continue the tradition of building a volunteer team and actively participating in organizing UEFA’s most important and spectacular events—from UEFA EURO 2020 and 2024 to the UEFA U21 European Championship in 2023. Now, we have the opportunity to be at the heart of the action for the UEFA Under-19 final tournament. This summer’s volunteer program aims to bring together people who are so diverse yet so similar in their values and passions, united by their desire to be involved and contribute to the community and beyond. The Volunteer Management Team will oversee all pre-tournament processes to ensure the identification, recruitment, and selection of the best-suited volunteers. Together, we will write a new chapter in Romania’s volunteer history, this time dedicated to the UEFA Under-19 final tournament”
