Răzvan Burleanu was accompanied by Ciprian Paraschiv, Football Development Manager, Aurel Țicleanu, a member of the Technical Committee of the Romanian Football Federation and Daniel Petcu, Growth Manager.

The President of the Romanian Football Federation had talks with Mayor Ioan Popa, Vice-mayor Adrian Dacica and the President of the Regional Football Association, Viorel Lolea. At the end of the meeting, a cooperation agreement was entered between the Romanian Football Federation and Reșița City Council.

Prior to the conclusion of the cooperation agreement, the parties visited the premises of Gloria sports complex in Reșița where the new football pitch will be built.

The standard artificial pitch in Reșița is one of the 18 pitches to be built under a two million euro funding facility provided by the Romanian Football Federation.

"I am very happy to come to Reșița for this important project which will be carried out by the Romanian Football Federation in cooperation with the local authorities. Such pitches will contribute to the development of grassroots football and local young players will have appropriate training facilities. The Romanian Football Federation intends to invest two million euro from private sources in the building of 18 such pitches", said the President of the Romanian Football Federation, Răzvan Burleanu.
