Romania hosted the 72nd edition of the European Under-19 Championship from 13 to 26 June 2025.
The new European champion in this age group is the Netherlands, who defeated the defending champion, Spain, 1-0 in the final. The final was decided by an own goal scored by Raul Jimenez in the 63rd minute. Kees Smit, the Dutch midfielder, was named the best player of the tournament, being also among the top scorers of the competition, with 4 goals.
